Craft Room Chaos Continues

So my craft room was literally pink and blue all over.  That is how I inherited it, but I tried to make it better with a soothing blue.  Well, that soothing blue didn’t have the drama I was looking for, so I went darker.  If color is something you can lust for, I lust this color. It’s lavish and bold.  It makes me swoon for my craft room!

Here is the second (well actually third) blue to go in my craft room.

Craft Room Turns Darker Blue

Yup, that is the old blue on the bottom and the new blue on the top.  And another yup, I did only paint the top half.  And yet a third yup, I painted with all that stuff in the middle of the room.  Painting is never hard.  It is moving all the furniture and doodads that makes it a chore, so I just left the heaviest items in the middle of the room.  Did I mention I tackled this project by myself?

Of course the only picture I have that really shows the blue best is the one below.  It also shows off my crazy, chaotic, craft closet for all to see.  I suppose that is another post all in itself.

Craft Closet Craziness

Now I am sure the question is really burning – why is the room only painted from the middle up?  Well, I was trying to save resources and I had plans for the bottom half, so why paint it?  My plans involved my friends Wayne & Scott.  Yes, I made that joke.  Here is a sneak peak at their work:

All these blues and I am still smiling.
