I might be a bit more loving of reptiles than the average person. I have a pet leopard gecko and sand boa who I affectionately call Gizmo and Mr. Snake respectively. Adam and I have been to Repticon in the past and were excited to visit again. If it comes to your area, I suggest going even if you are not in the business of buying a new pet. It is like a cool reptile zoo and is perfect for the kiddos. Here are some highlights of the visit.
Bearded dragons have such personality!
I really liked the pattern on this snake.
It was easy to tell that this vendor really cared for his sugar gliders. Bingo (shown with the red hat) was very sweet.
Every year we go we decide on a new pet to buy that we do not buy (Dreaming is fun!). Last year it was bearded dragons. This year it was crested geckos. Adam held this cute fellow for a long time.
I couldn’t help but snap this pic of these geckos looking like they were in specimen jars.
Chameleons are just bizarre.
And last, a brightly colored leopard gecko that caught my eye. Last time I went I fell in love with a similarly “tangerine” colored gecko.
Let your colors shine!
